Traumatic Editing

My writing experience spans over 16 years, as an Author; and much longer in technical writing as a federal career professional, from the past.   The notion of writing creates a passion that remedies the downs of emotions and states of minds.   When some sort of interference surfaces, it becomes a challenge to overcome, as a mindset striving to comprehend the fullness of a particular situation demands an analytical spectrum that can cover a myriad of perspectives.     I had the unfortunate experience of visualizing one of my books, as a defective unit of production.   Page 27 was the starting page, representing page 1. As a courtesy, my publisher did apologize, and remitted several free copies of my books.   To summarize these feelings of frustration, an article, describing other forms of editing faux pas, was written in 2021, and is being posted here.
