Is it far fetched to believe that there can be an upbeat continuum of some type after the end of a relationship surfaces; or the end of a school year; the end of a marriage; or the end of sufferance? In most cultures, when a certain era has completed its course, we welcome a new era, hopefully for the better. While we may be mindful of reversing the trend to look backward instead of forward, the main focus is generally toward the future. Can we consider it a violation of our rights, when the past refuses to yield and thus, creates impeding nuances to either block progress, or intentionally place a quandary of hesitation and/or adverse firmness on our paths? Fortunately for most, the past recognizes implications of a criminal nature, when refusal to relinquish a hold may be present. My ninth book will partly focus on this aspect of this type of personal worriment or distress. M. Augustin.
